Gramsci/Lula and socialization of the politics

Compilation of Francisco de Oliveira’s article about Lula and the book “Socialization of the politics” according Antonio Gramsci. Piauí Magazine, October 2009.

Almost eight years with Lula at presidency it’s already possible to avaluate his upside hegemony. Lula receives a revolutionary mandate from voters and his presidency surrendered to periphery capitalism. But the mandate, without doubt, was reformer intense in the classic way which the political sociology applied to the term: advances in the socialization of the politic in large terms and specifiquily, expansion of the spaces of popular participation, intensity redistribution of profit in a country obscenity difference, and one political reform and political giving an end for a long persist of the patrimonialism. But the results are the opposite that this endorsed mandate.

The growing have been based in the return to agricultural vocation of the country, sustained by exportation of agriculture and cattle raising, a lot of meat and ore of iron for China that with the cooling of the 10% growth 8% to the year brings retraction for the PIB farming of Brazil. The exportations had come back to be led by the primary goods, what it did not happen since 1978.

Etanol that males would be the panacea of all social was substituted by pre salt. But the Exxon pierced of oil well… dry. The British Group, associated Petrobra’s it announces the same. The reserve expectation had passed of 1 trillion of modest barrels of oil for 8 billion. As well as the forecast of economic growth for 2009 they had passed of 5% for 1%. The newness of the globalitarian capitalism is that became a banditry field, In the conditions of a peripheral country, the global competition compels to an intense acceleration that does not allow competition rules that Weber would like to praise. The capitalism excuses the democracy.
